You remind me a lot of Gary Moore (one my personal top 5 players of all times) - equally awesome at blues as rock and blues rock and your tone reminds me a lot of his in the 80/90s. You got your own thing going and definitely give off the American vice English vibes - but it's clear you had a legit spot alongside John Mayhal. Love ya man - great stuff!

If you look at all the Blues guitar players (not counting the players that have been so inspirational to many like Walter Trout, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, etc.) there are only a handful of Blues guitar players that ever reach this level and Eric Steckel may possibly be residing in that category along with Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Alan and Steve Nimmo, Virgil and the Accelerators, Jay Jesse Johnson, and Davy Knowles. This is only my opinion and I'm sure there are a few others I left out.
